3D Audio Senior Project Manager

Dirac grows rapidly and the team in Uppsala currently consists of more than 60 people.

We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our 3D Audio team in Uppsala.

As Senior Project Manager at Dirac business unit XR you will be managing internal development- as well as global customer delivery projects. You will be part of a dedicated team being responsible for securing product deliveries in both time and quality for our various spatial 3D audio technologies and integrations. You will work closely with other Dirac software developers, tuning engineers and researchers to keep track of progress and results on a daily basis. At Dirac, you will have a great opportunity to define and run the processes you see fit in order for projects to be finalized within necessary timeframes.

You probably come from a background within software development being used to working with demanding customers and are familiar with an agile project management method that within reason allows for change management processes etc. You also enjoy and are used to customer interaction and can travel from time to time when necessary.

Required qualifications

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in Project management and preferably some sort of certification

  • Programming experience and proficiency in C and C++

  • Experience in relevant project management tools

  • Leadership skills, a strong drive and a strong sense of responsibility

  • Excellent oral and written English skills

  • Experience of working in an agile environment

  • Interest in sound and audio technology.

  • Self-going as well as team player

Desired qualifications

  • Experience working with frameworks for VR, AR and/or 3D audio applications

  • Experience with audio, in particular spatial audio

  • Experience with game development and game engines such as Unreal or Unity

  • Experience with audio development and audio programming
