As an Audio Tuning Engineer, you will have an important role using your sound engineering skills and our software to create the best possible sound on real-case customer projects. You will mainly be responsible for supporting automotive OEM and Tier-1 customers, both on-site throughout the world and from the office. You are driven by a passion for sound quality and have the expertise to achieve the sound that you or the customers are looking for. Being an Audio Tuning Engineer in the automotive industry means tuning cars to perfection in order to make the sound system sound amazing when played with all kinds of music.
The position is demanding and challenging, often working with technical limitations and highly demanding customers, but also creative and rewarding – knowing that your work and ideas will be used by millions of users each day. You will work closely with our Uppsala team at first to get you settled in to the role, but it is required to quickly become self-sufficient and skilled in our audio tuning tools, both to provide great service to our customers and to help support our Asian tuning teams with expertise and inspiration.

+ Engineering (electrical, acoustic) or similar relevant education
+ Basic scripting languages (Matlab), other audio software
+ Be able to travel up to 50% at times
+ Good knowledge in both spoken and written English. Swedish, Chinese, Japanese or German is a big plus.
