Martin Nordgren, Research Engineer, High Performance
What do you enjoy most about working at Dirac?
Having great colleagues who I learn a lot from. And it is really fun working with all of our latest audio technologies. I also like being on site with customers in East Asia and experiencing other working cultures.
What is the best thing about your job?
It is fun to try out all the new algorithms that really make a great difference improving sound systems. I also like that I’m working with the software team, turning our latest research into great products.
What brought you to Dirac?
I have always been interested in music and have been playing in bands, going to concerts, and so on. And I studied electrical engineering. So to be able to work with engineering, audio signal processing, and software development is a cool combination.
What types of music do you usually listen to? What is your favorite music genre?
I listen to many different kinds of music. Right now it’s quite a lot of techno, metal, indie and post punk.
What is your most favorite video game ever?
It is really hard to name only one, but I think Zelda: Ocarina of Time had the most impact on me.
