Position Background and Your Challenge:

We’re looking for an awesome Digital Marketing Manager to lead a growing consumer technology company to the next level in our online presence.  You are responsible for leading the Dirac digital marketing strategy and activity across all our markets and segments. The role will focus on the online profile of Dirac with a focus on improving industry and consumer engagement.

You have a can-do attitude and curious and passionate about digital marketing. You’ll be good at problem solving and understand how to use technology to help deliver a solution. We’re a small company with big ambitions to go more global and more consumer, so you enjoy getting hands-on—you’re not afraid to do what it takes to get the job done and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment.

You are a good project manager, with the ability to handle internal stakeholders. And your role goes beyond the stuff you deliver—you’re also an internal champion for marketing and brand inside and outside the team. You have fun, know how to stay calm and enjoy working in a fast, high tech, consumer focused environment. Within 6 months, you’ll have the opportunity to grow the Digital Marketing team, so you also have the drive and passion to become a leader.

Key programs for this year you would be supporting: 

  • Driving elements of our re-brand project, inclusive of leading the online web development in partnership with agencies

  • Lead process for online content creation

  • Develop the long-term Digital Marketing Strategy and resourcing plan

Reporting lines:

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you report directly to the CMO and are part of the Marketing leadership team.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Strategy & planning: play a key role in the development of the digital marketing and social media strategies plus lead the planning and implementation to help drive industry and consumer engagement

  • Stakeholder engagement: engage with stakeholders at numerous levels to get input and feedback on projects

  • Website: drive the website redevelopment project on a day-to-day basis, manage update request and priorities, complete updates using the CMS and managing image catalogues

  • Agency engagement: work with agencies to develop and implement recommendations for the website, SEO & social media

  • SEO: develop SEO strategy and suggestions, optimise website pages including meta information, tagging, keyword optimisation and external link building to increase search rankings and website traffic

  • Social media: lead the social media activity across a range of platforms

  • Campaigns: provide input on digital aspects of campaigns including SEM, content and social media

  • Analysis: undertake analysis of digital marketing data and create reports for use with key stakeholders across the business           


  • 6+ year’s digital marketing experience

  • International marketing experience

  • Website development projects a must

  • Proficient English skills a must; Chinese language skills a bonus

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience considered equivalent
