Bringing truly premium sound to the automotive industry has always been a challenge. The less-than-ideal placement of loudspeakers and complicated car cabin acoustics have both been significant roadblocks for perfect audio experiences in all seats in the cabin. Until now. For over a decade we’ve used our sophisticated sound quality optimization, sound field control and room correction solutions to bring pristine sound to drivers and passengers around the world. Dirac is continuously improving our existing software and algorithms as well as bringing our research into new products and software.  This is where our new colleague will have his/her main role, to develop and improve executable software for our audio solutions.

Your challenge

You will be part of a dedicated team developing our audio tuning tools and implementations of our signal processing algorithms for automotive industry. You will work closely with other Dirac software developers, tuning engineers and researchers to invent the future of sound.

Your Profile

Required qualifications

·         MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience

·         Programming experience and proficiency in C and/or C++

·         Ability to use a variety of open source technologies and cloud services

Desired qualifications

·         Knowledge in audio signal processing and/or advanced mathematics

·         Embedded software development

·         Agile development

·         CMake

·         JUCE

·         Git, Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket
