Dirac and Tonewinner Bring Dirac Live to the AT-600, Expanding Access to High-End Home Theater Performance. The new 16-channel processor supports Dirac Live Room Correction and Bass Control at launch, with Active Room Treatment support planned for later this year.
UPPSALA, Sweden, June 16, 2026
Dirac today announced that the new Tonewinner AT-600 AV processor will support the Dirac Live platform, including Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control at launch – with Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART) to be introduced later this year. The AT-600 also marks the first Chinese OEM-developed and branded device to integrate Dirac Live.
Designed for high-performance home cinema environments, the Tonewinner AT-600 is a 16-channel AV processor supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, combining immersive audio processing with advanced room optimization and 8K video passthrough.
Dirac Live Room Correction addresses both magnitude and phase distortions introduced by the listening space, enabling more accurate imaging, improved clarity, and a more consistent listening experience across the room. Dirac Live Bass Control builds on this foundation by co-optimizing subwoofers and speakers to deliver tighter, more even bass across multiple listening positions.
"At Dirac, we talk about the complete audio experience as system, source, and space and the space is consistently the most overlooked of the three," said Anders Storm, CEO of Dirac. "Tonewinner clearly sees it the same way. The AT-600 pairs 16-channel processing with Dirac Live Room Correction and Bass Control out of the gate, with ART to follow, giving their customers a direct path to the full audio experience.”
With the planned addition of Dirac Live ART, the AT-600 will further enhance performance by enabling all speakers and subwoofers to operate as a coordinated acoustic system. Using multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) processing, ART reduces low-frequency resonances, shortens decay times, and improves overall system coherence.
Positioned at a competitive price point, the AT-600 brings advanced immersive audio processing and Dirac’s premium acoustic optimization technologies into a broader segment of the market, expanding access to high-performance home theater without compromising capability. The Tonewinner AT-600 will be available for $2,299 USD.
The AT-600 supports up to 9.3.4 or 7.3.6 channel configurations, along with HDMI 2.1 connectivity, 8K video passthrough, and compatibility with formats including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and DTS:X.
“With the AT-600, our goal was to deliver true high-end home cinema performance at a competitive price point, expanding access to a more immersive listening experience,” said Michael Li, president of Tonewinner. “Dirac Live sets the standard for room acoustics software, and its integration ensures our customers can achieve precise, balanced sound that fully realizes the capability of their system.”
