How ART transforms sound.
ART turns all your speakers into a smart, coordinated system. They work together to deliver the best sound for your unique space, compensating for each other’s limitations to fill in what individual speakers can’t do alone. Like a team, your strongest speakers can now help the weaker ones.
ART reduces lingering bass and room reverberations, the main causes of muddy or boomy sound that can blur the rest of the mix. With those distractions gone, the room fades away and your content takes centre stage. The result is a more immersive, spacious sound with clearer imaging, no matter where you’re sitting.
The world’s most advanced room correction solution.
ART uses our patented MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) technology to make your speakers work together as one smart system, where speakers share playback and correction data to target the hardest acoustic problems. Each speaker supports the others, compensating for weaknesses and enhancing clarity across the room.
Important to note is that if you’re using subwoofers, a Dirac Live Bass Control (DLBC) license is also required.

What features are unique to ART?
FAQ
ART is our most advanced technology so far. It builds on Dirac Room Correction, where each speaker is treated separately, but instead treats your entire speaker system as one cohesive unit. This makes it possible for all speakers within the system to actively collaborate and shape the desired soundscape for your room. https://www.dirac.com/live/art-technology/
Please visit the Dirac Online Store to see price, availability and compatibility for your audio device. www.dirac.com/shop
You can purchase the ART licence directly from the Dirac Online Store. After your purchase, activate the licence and download the Dirac Live software, which will guide you through the setup and calibration process.
Be sure to check your device’s compatibility before buying, as you need a Dirac-enabled device which can be upgraded to ART.
NOTE: In order to use ART in a speaker system which includes subwoofers, you will also need the Bass Control license (no subwoofers = no Bass Control license needed).
If you have done your calibration according to our recommendations with at least 9 valid measurement points, you do not have to recalibrate your system.
If you are not seeing ART make sure you have updated the firmware of the Dirac capable device to the latest version, and that you are using the latest version of Dirac Live.
